Bus timetables and routes changed this morning as part of the biannual updates by public transit agency Movia, which is responsible for all buses in Zealand and Lolland-Falster.
Some lines only have minor timing adjustments to their schedules, whereas others have entirely new routes.
Although the bus schedules change twice a year, Movia has underscored that the changes this time are more substantial than they have been in the past, and therefore encourages people to check the new schedules and routes.
“We always reroute the bus timetables in December. But the changes this time are more drastic than usual because of the many requests from the councils who make decisions on the service levels.”
In addition to the rerouting and rescheduling, many of the bus lines have been renumbered in order to eliminate duplicate line numbers caused by the merger of three county transit agencies in 2007 to create Movia.
The changes to the bus timetables and routes can be seen at Movia.dk, where it possible to look up the changes by either council or line number.
