Large amounts of snow have fallen over the past 24 hours over parts of the country and more snow is on its way. Together with strong winds it will cause further traffic problems for the rest of the day.
Police have advised against non-essential driving today in several parts of the country, including Southern Zealand as far north as Køge in the East and Slagelse in the West.
Tomorrow’s weather looks a bit more promising with less wind and less snow, and the sun might even come out. Clearing will start in the northwest and then spread across the country.
"We shouldn’t expect super weather tomorrow but it will be a lot more peaceful,” Henning Gisselø of the Danish Meteorological Institute said.
