Arrest made in the killing of a Dane abroad
A man suspected of slaughtering a pregnant Danish national in her Jamaican home has been apprehended by local police
Police in Jamaica have taken a man into custody in connection with the brutal slaying of a Danish national at her home in Jamaica.
Henrietta Jensen's mutilated and dismembered body was found by her fiancée, John Marr, at approximately 11:45 on Thursday of last week. Jensen was 13 weeks pregnant with the couple's first child.
The man, who was taken into custody late Tuesday night, is employed by a Danish travel agency based in Jamaica, reported daily newspaper B.T.
The man in custody reportedly had worked as a gardener for the couple's restaurant, the Half Moon Bar & Restaurant in Green Island on Jamaica's west coast.
The man was peacefully apprehended by three police officers near the restaurant according to Swedish daily Aftonbladet.
