Queen Margrethe’s 39th New Year’s Eve speech at 6:00pm tomorrow will be available to international audiences worldwide.

Public broadcaster DR has announced that due to the large global interest in the Queen’s speech it will temporarily break its practice of blocking people with foreign IP addresses from seeing live broadcasts.

The speech will then be posted online on www.dr.dk/nu for people to see afterwards as well. It is also possible to watch and hear previous speeches on www.dr.dk/bonanza, using the search keyword, ‘nytårstale’.
