Head coach Morten Olsen will only take 15 players to Denmark's first two World Cup qualification matches Denmark's national football team has two very difficult away matches to start its World Cup qualification journey, and head coach Morten Olsen is...

The team must first face Hungary - a match from which analysts believe Denmark should at least get a draw - and then Christiano Ronaldo-led Portugal, where the Danes will be hard-pressed to take home any points.

Notably absent from Olsen's line-up are hard-nosed midfielders Leon Andreasen and Mikkel Thygesen. Jesper Grønkjær, Martin Jørgensen and Thomas Kalhenberg are all injured.

The 15 players are: goalkeepers Thomas Sørensen, Jesper Christiansen and Stephan Andersen; defenders Daniel Agger, Lars Jacobsen, Martin Laursen and Per Krøldrup; midfielders Michael Silberbauer, Martin Retov, Daniel Jensen, Christian Poulsen and Martin Vingaard; and forwards Jon Dahl Tomasson, Dennis Rommedahl and Nicklas Bendtner.
